Foreign Family Party Saturday DTLA

Come Downtown Saturday and Celebrate Summer with Foreign Family and Crew.

Mike Escamilla “Dirty Deeds” Section

This is one of the all time best parts and best bmx videos ever. Rooftop did things that people didn’t catch onto for another 6-7 years. Dave Parrick & this video helped define that whole era of my life, haha.

Ben Hucke Summer Time

Ben Hucke’s Crooks & Castles Summer Time edit is now up on Defgrip. BLKLST will also be giving away a few Hucke Sputnic posters featuring the above photo, hit us up on facebook or twitter to get one.

Click the image above or head over to Defgrip.net to see the video.

Girl With The Dragon Tattoo

When I first heard Hollywood was remaking possibly my favorite foreign movies I was kind of bummed because the originals are so good. After seeing the trailer I can’t wait, pretty excited that now Blomkvist is looking more like the bad MFer he should be thanks to Daniel Craig. It seems Director David Finchermay have speed up the action a bit and DP Jeff Cronenweth made this thing look amazing. Click the image above or go to dragontattoo.com to see the trailer and full poster art, both of which are awesome.

Birdmen of Transformers 3

Wether you like Transformers or not you have to at least appreciate that Michael Bay makes crazy shit. It’s also cool to that even in a heavy CG movie he is doing as much live action and stunts as possible.

Kreayshawn – Gucci Gucci

This is amazing and horrible for all the same reasons. I just wish the levels were mixed a little better.

Oliver De Sagazan

I was thinking about some of the works that I relate to in many ways the other day and it reminded me of an artist that Chris introduced me to, Oliver De Sagazan, sculptor and performer. This is a very poetic and beautifully primitive, moving performance piece which stirs much emotion. Take a look at more of his work http://nefdesfous.free.fr

Mike Dytri of Ludwig Van has a nice little interview over on Breaks of 10. Mike talks a bit about his history, Ludwig Van, his recent collab with vans “The Deadstock Canvas Project (above), and even an upcoming hat with Quintin. Mike is a talented guy so check out what he has to say on Breaks.

Liberty Vintage Motorcycles

A conversation today made me think of this video. Then I watched it again and think it’s just as good the second time.
