I was asked to create a audio/video edit of old black and white horror movies to be played at Chicago Park District’s 13 Terrors Haunted House so people had something to watch while waiting in line. I was on a very tight time frame, but my goal was to make it more of an audio experience with visuals. I talked to a few friends I know that make music and had them give me some of their darker sounds. I mixed and mastered them together, then added the video imagery. Music by Ryan Nichols, Stephen, Scholtes, Jeekoos, Adam Nardi, Michael Perry Goodman. Thanks to everyone who made this possible. And thank Adrian Loza for pushing me to finish it and not freak out because of software issues. Eat a chocolate and enjoy.

We made this trailer for Jillian Lauren’s new book Pretty. The piece was scored by Scott from Weezer which is pretty cool plus it was made entirely while in motion, either on a plane or in a tour bus. AMAZON showed up again today. I’m guessing a piece of a slider I’m working on, a mount that I already know will be returned, the lid organizer for my pelican case, and I think the bag is some brain chemicals.

Friend of BLKLST Will Stroud directed and produced this video and as you can see he’s pretty talented. The video was shot in Raleigh, NC and although Troop 41′s popularity is growing in the Carolinas I’m pretty sure they didn’t have a huge budget which proves even more so how talented will is.

Just got a new hard case from Pelican and this thing is pretty awesome. I don’t even have the lid organizer yet but so far I can fit 2 camera bodies, 5 lenses, lens hoods, 5 batteries, 2 chargers, memory card case, friction arm, ball head, mini tripod/handle, flashlight, Zoom H1 inside a hard case (blue), and the rest of my audio kit(shot gun, lav, batteries, windscreens) in another case hard case below that. Even without the lid organizer there is still room to pack some stuff in as well.

Whether you like everything they are doing or not if you can’t at least appreciate this parody there is probably something wrong with you.

Is there anything better than this. I love Michael Bay.
